Painting Tips
One of the characteristics of this series are the somewhat naïve and amusing situations in which these figures find themselves.
In this case, the prick of a plant on the girl's thigh exposes the silhouette of her leg and shows the transparency of her stockings.
To paint a figure like this it is very important to leave some pieces unglued
so that they can be painted with absolute ease.
In order to do this, it is necessary to check that all the laces are very precise and thus avoid any setbacks once they have been painted.
Possibly one of the most complicated points to paint is the transparency of the stockings.
If we have an airbrush, once the skin is painted, we use an adhesive mask to cover the part of the leg where the stocking is not.
With a very diluted spray of No. 5 of the black set (ACS-02), we cover the whole area of the stocking. Without changing colour, we insist again on the volumes where the shadows are cast from the leg.
When removing the masks we will see the effect of transparency where you can see very subtly the skin tone on the thin layer of black paint.
