Heavy Battle Tank Mk.I Male 2 in 1 (with crane and flat trailer)

The Mk.I tank was the first operational tank in the British army and in the world. It was based on the Little Willie (The Lincoln machine) project, supported by the Landships Committee, headed by Walter Wilson and William Tritton. It was largely an attempt to overcome the previous model issues. One of the solutions was to avoid adding a turret and mounted the guns in sponsons instead. In December 1915, the final prototype, named officially His Majesty Land Ship Centipede or Mother, was ready for the first trials. As a Mother, it was indeed the first of a major lineage which spanned from April 1916 to the early twenties. The TAKOM kit allows you to build either a classical basic version or a Sponson version with Crane and trailer.
