The Freightliner Corporation, one of the best known manufacturers of U.S. Trucks with the main premises in Portland, Oregon, is a fully owned Daimler-Benz subsidiary since 1981, which is the biggest manufacturer of Diesel Utility vehicles. These trucks are known under the name “the Efficient Machine” because of their special features.
