History
Since Toyota Motor Company introduced their Celica in 1970, this popular car has become a benchmark for all sports cars. The Celica series have been active in many motorsport activities and obtained excellent results coming out victorious in countless international events. Shortly after publicly announcing it would launch the 6th generation Celica in October 1993, Toyota began to prepare an evolved version of this car rally, which called GT-FOUR. Designed from the outset to be the basis of a Toyota rally car, the GT-FOUR was equipped with a turbocharged 2-liter DOHC with a liquid-cooled intercooler 255cv of power. This power is transmitted effectively to the 4 wheels through a permanent drive system, which today has become a standard feature of the best rally cars. To improve the stability of the front suspension arms are used reinforced. You get good braking even under the harshest conditions thanks to the large brake discs with a spiral for ventilation, with ABS (antilock system) sensor G. All this sophisticated mechanical body is wrapped in an aggressive line with the headlights in a very original, and several air intakes and cooling system.
