JGSDF Light Armored Vehicle Manufactured for the JGSDF by Japanese firm Komatsu, the vehicle was first delivered to units from 2002 and provided an instant defensive upgrade from the armored vehicles it replaced. The ability to transport it by helicopter or aircraft enhances the JGSDF's mobility. Aside from the 5.56mm machine gun, it can also be fitted with a 12.7mm machine gun, or even anti-tank weapons. One of the more notable deployments of the vehicle was in the JGSDF's Iraq Humanitarian Assistance operation after the second Gulf War, and this model recreates the version updated based upon experience the JGSDF gained there.
