Petlyakov PE-8ОN Stalin’S Plane The long-range bomber Pe-8 ОN proved its usefulness for transoceanic fl ights when it was used by the Soviet foreign minister Molotov and Soviet government delegation from Moscow to US and back without problems in May 1942. One of the two built Pe-8 ОN was used for fl ying Josef Stalin to the fi rst meeting of the Big Three at the Tehran Conference, Iran.
