Panther Ausf. A
The Panther is considered to be one of the best tanks of World War II. A favourite with its crews, it was feared by the enemy on account of its devastating efficiency. With its long 7.5 cm cannon, it proved more than capable of blasting its way out of even the most difficult situations. It performed outstandingly on all fronts, thus earning it a deserved reputation. At the end of the war the French army used tanks captured from German depots to equip its own tank regiment, which remained in service until the early 1950s.
